We are Sol Seekers,

OUR STORY:

Meet Justin Randolph and Greg Cicchino, life partners and proud LGBTQ+ community members shaping Sol Seek Yoga with their vibrant stories.

Justin, a former professional actor, found solace in yoga amidst anxiety and body image challenges in his early 20s. Embracing yoga as a sanctuary, he became a full-time teacher - weaving his story into the diverse tapestry of New York City.

Greg, a theater director from Rochester, also discovered the power of introspection through yoga in his early 20s. Together, Justin and Greg relocated to Los Angeles, seeking the serenity of the West Coast's natural beauty and a slower pace of life.

In 2018, fate beckoned as Justin was offered the opportunity to purchase Yoga Loft in Manhattan Beach, a studio where he was teaching. Enamored by the vibrant community, Justin and Greg became stewards of what we now call “The Loft” in 2019. The challenges of the pandemic were met with the unwavering support of the community, a testament to the resilience created through shared breaths and shared experiences.

The journey continued in 2022 with the addition of a second location featuring hot yoga in El Porto. The threads of destiny wove even tighter when, in 2020, Justin and Greg met Jill Agonias, the founder of Sol Seek Yoga in Santa Barbara. The connection was undeniable, the synergy palpable. In 2023, Justin and Greg acquired Sol Seek Santa Barbara and transformed all of their studios into Sol Seek - bridging communities and missions into a unified sanctuary for practice.

Why the name Sol Seek? It embodies the spirit of seeking the sun within, a radiant journey toward self-discovery and enlightenment. It reflects the warmth and brightness that every practitioner brings to the mat, creating a space where diversity is celebrated, and every body is honored.

As proud gay men who understand the importance of finding acceptance in an imperfect world, Justin and Greg have made it their mission to extend that sanctuary to all. Sol Seek Yoga is committed to making yoga accessible, embracing its roots, and creating a haven where all who enter feel seen, heard, and valued.

"May all beings be happy and free" isn't just a phrase; it's an invitation and a challenge, and one we wholeheartedly accept.
