Modern teaching to the heart of yoga.

Yoga is a centuries-old practice that deserves reverence and respect, but it doesn’t exist in a vacuum. To truly honor the practice, we need to consider its relationship to our current context. In this training, we’ll teach you how to apply the philosophies and lessons of traditional yoga to our modern world.

Why Train with Sol Seek Yoga?

Our programs are unified by a deep commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and social justice. We believe that yoga is for everybody, regardless of age, body type, or background. Our emphasis on creating a supportive community and being truly inclusive sets us apart from other yoga teacher trainings.

We believe the heart of yoga lies in service to others. Our programs are just as much about personal growth as they’re about empowering teachers to give back to their communities and make a positive impact.

Through our emphasis on ethical teaching practices, yoga for social justice, social responsibility, and community engagement, we strive to inspire teachers to become catalysts for positive change in the yoga industry and beyond!

Discover the connection between yoga and social justice.

Embedded in our commitment to inclusivity is dedication to exploring yoga for social justice. In all of our foundational yoga trainings, we’ll discuss the role yoga plays in the crucial work of creating structural change and supporting marginalized communities at the forefront of those efforts.

As part of this movement for diversity and inclusion, we’re providing 2 BIPOC scholarship opportunities - One at 100% off normal tuition and one at 50% off.

Funds for BIPOC scholarships are provided by our weekly Give Back classes and BIPOC Scholarship Fund.

Yoga Teacher Training Leadership Team

Natalie Sampila
Training Director • Santa Barbara

  • E-RYT 500

Natalie was introduced to Yoga and meditation as a young girl, but it wasn’t until she moved to Santa Barbara in the late 90’s that Yoga became an essential part of her life. Practicing Yoga at a local studio became her saving grace. After only a few months of taking classes she was hooked by the healing of yoga, and felt the need to learn as much as she could.

In 1998, Natalie took her first 200hr training with Eric Shcifman. At this point she had no intention of teaching, she just felt the need to immerse herself in the beauty of all that was yoga. The Universe, however, had other plans., Yoga and teaching become not only her career but a way of living she continues to share with students, with love and passion daily.

Natalie works to teach each student to embrace their light within, and see their way through the dark. The intention she takes into all she teaches is based in Ayurveda.=

“Through the practice of Ayurveda, we relearn to nurture our nature. The knowledge and intuition we are all born with is clouded by the veils of life, with commitment to practicing yoga we can pull those veils back and live our truth”

Her deepest joy is to practice, play and grow together with her students.
