What is Burn?

Burn is a signature modality offered at Sol Seek that takes a fresh approach to fitness - combining the very best elements of yoga sculpt, pilates, HIIT, and barre to create a comprehensive workout.

This modality incorporates strength training, cardiovascular exercises, and dynamic movements to improve physical health and relieve stress. Unlike other fitness modalities, the goal of Burn is not to shred calories or look a certain way. Instead, the priority is empowerment, stress relief, and feeling GREAT!

Burn ≠ Yoga Sculpt

We created it that way on purpose.

There comes a time in a yoga teacher’s (or studio owner’s) journey where you have to decide… should I add yoga sculpt classes? As business owners and servants of our community, it’s normal to want to diversify your offerings and serve a wider range of students.

When we reached this point at Sol Seek, we knew that we wanted to provide a fitness offering that stands apart, ensuring that the culturally rich practice of yoga remains authentic and untouched. Burn represents our commitment to navigating the delicate balance between preserving the essence of yoga and meeting the demand for invigorating fitness-oriented group classes.

While Burn incorporates some dynamic yoga-inspired flows, it is not a yoga class, and we openly declare it as such. This modality is our thoughtful solution to the ethical dilemma faced by studios seeking to offer high-energy fitness classes without diluting the profound spiritual and cultural roots of yoga. By becoming a Burn teacher, you’ll gain the practical skills to guide students on a fitness journey that respects yoga’s sacred origins while delivering a powerful, distinct, and culturally mindful workout.
