Chelsea Willet

She/Her

Bio: I was fortunate to be introduced to yoga at a young age and rely on it throughout the years. One of my biggest mentors is Natalie Sampila. In 2014 I took her 25hr Aerial Yoga Training while also assisting her in her studio, Better Days Yoga. I then took a 200hr training with Lainie Devina + Natalie Sampila through YogaWorks. In 2015 I took a 50hr Yin training with David Kim at YogaWorks which was one of the more powerful trainings for me. I was already in love with Yin as I was living a very Yang life but the training was packed full of anatomy and the differences in every body.

I teach because I want people to experience the life-changing benefits of Yoga on and off the mat and I love teaching pieces of Yoga that practitioners may have not noticed or paid attention to prior to my class.

  • My classes are:

Tuning into the smaller movements, learning YOUR bodies alignment and being curious about your sensations. I focus more on transitions than reaching the "asana".

  • When I'm not on my mat I'm:

Making art and taking photos with my film cameras.

  • I grew up in:

    Huntington Beach, CA

  • Something you'd never guess about me is:

I'm a BIG comic book reader and watcher but not marvel so much, way more into Image and independent writers/artists.
