Courtney Lee Harms

She/Her

Bio: I began practicing yoga to heal my body from years of competitive track and field, dance, soccer, and gymnastics. I graduated from UCSB in 2002 and completed the NASM certification for personal training in 2004.

After a few years of experiencing the power of movement to act as medicine through my yoga practice most specifically, I enrolled in my first yoga training in 2006 and went on to complete more than 500 hours of TT through Yoga Works in Santa Monica, California and 50+ hours through Yoga Ed.

I was based in Venice Beach until late 2020 where I taught for many studios in the Los Angeles area including Studio Surya Yoga, Yogis Anonymous, and Yoga Works. I have taught many teacher trainings and specialty workshops and have hosted several yoga and Scuba retreats in Roatan, Honduras.

My teaching is inspired by many styles, most notably, Vinyasa flow. Every class includes mindful movement, breath work, philosophy, and of course a good sense of humor.
