Bio: Val’s guidance balances out the Yang and Yin energy to move powerfully together, creating a harmonious and complete experience on your mat. Expect some spice in your yin practice, & vice versa — a touch of cool in the yang. Within the most yang practice is the seed of yin; within the most yin practice is the seed of yang.

Val is a 500+RYT with extensive experience in guiding Vinyasa, Meridian Yin, & Meditation. She attained her Advanced Yogic Studies and Meridian Technique under Erin Rose Vaughan, founder of Science of Self in New York. Val also studied under Hector Marcel during a 200 hour Meditation Teacher Training at Three Jewels in New York City. Currently, her sadhana consists of Ashtanga, Rocket Yoga, & pranayama. Growing in El Segundo, Val recalls fond memories of summers at El Porto. Val attained her Bachelor’s in English Literature at UC Irvine. She also studied contemporary ballet in San Francisco with Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program.
